Kind of following along the lines of Palm's bluefish, a small startup called VenueMaitred has a fantastic combination content creation and wireless access package for corporate users who wish to allow users within a specific domain, for example a trade show, to not only access loads of information pertaining to certain areas like a certain station, but it also allows the users to communicate with one another. A perfect scenario for the later: vacationers on a large cruise ship with nothing to do. Users can not only check their POP3 e-mail and view it (and send) using a great web interface, but they can also chat and send drawings and notes. The package is really comprehensive and definitely deserves a closer look.
